ABOUT Instant Masala Vada RECIPE

No need of soaking and grinding instant wada with lots of green vegetables my kids love them

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 1.5 cups whole wheat flour
  2. 1/2 cup rice flour
  3. 1/2 cup besan
  4. 2 cups finely chopped spinach
  5. 1 cup finely chopped coriander leaves
  6. 1 onion ,chopped
  7. 1/2 cup of water - adjust
  8. Salt as per taste
  9. 1 tsp coriander powder
  10. Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp - optional
  11. 2 tbsp chana dal
  12. 2 tbsp moong dal
  13. 1 tsp chili powder
  14. Oil for deep frying

Instructions

  1. Soak dals for 30 minutes in hot water. Drain excess water
  2. Mix all ingredients except oil with water to form smooth malleable dough
  3. Divide dough into equal portions and shape them like vadas
  4. Deep fry vadas until golden brown and crisp
  5. Drain excess oil over tissue paper and serve hot
