Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 11/2 cup curd , whisked
  2. 2 tbsp gram flour
  3. 1 cup roughly chopped spinach
  4. 1 tsp cumin seeds
  5. 1/2 tsp coriander seeds
  6. 1/2 tsp fenugreek seeds
  7. 2 dry whole red chili
  8. 7-8 curry leaves
  9. 1 tsp ginger-green chili paste
  10. 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  11. 1/4 tsp chili powder
  12. 2 tsp oil
  13. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Whisk curds and gram flour in a deep bowl until mixture is smooth. Keep it aside
  2. Heat oil in a deep kadai. Add the cumin seeds, coriander seeds, fenugreek seeds, whole red chili and curry leaves
  3. When the seeds crackle, add chopped spinach, chili powder, turmeric powder, ginger-green chili paste and and cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Add curd mixture with 2 cups of water. Mix well
  5. Add salt and bring to boil, stirring continuously.
  6. Boil for 7-10 minutes.
  7. Serve hot with steamed rice or parathas.
