Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Spinach 2 bunches
  2. Paneer grated 100 grams
  3. Gram flour 3 tablespoons
  4. Garlic finely chopped 8 to 10 cloves
  5. Green chilies finely chopped 3 - 4
  6. Oil for frying
  7. Tomatoes 6 medium-sized, pureed
  8. Salt as per taste
  9. Green cardamom 3 to 4
  10. Gram masala 2 tablespoons
  11. Red chili powder 2 tablespoons
  12. Turmeric 1/2 tablespoons
  13. Sugar 1/2 tablespoons
  14. Kasuri methi Power 1 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Add spinach leaves to boiling water and cook for 3-4 minutes
  2. Drain excess water.
  3. Add leaves to cold water immediately
  4. Squeeze out the excess water from spinach
  5. Chop leaves finely
  6. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a pan. Add garlic , green chilies and saute it for a minute.
  7. Add gram flour and saute for 2 minutes.
  8. Add spinach , salt and saute until mixture is dry.
  9. Now mash Paneer , mix with little salt and gram masala.
  10. Now roll paneer into small balls.
  11. Take a spoonful of spinach mixture, flatten it and place a Paneer ball at the center.
  12. Gather the edges and shape into a ball.
  13. Spread corn starch in a plate and roll stuffed spinach balls over it
  14. Deep fry spinach balls in hot oil in batches over low heat until golden brown.
  15. Drain excess oil on kitchen towel.
  16. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a kadai. Add green cardamom and tomatoes Puree. Cook for 3 minutes.
  17. Now add salt, turmeric and red chill power. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
  18. Add sugar, Kasuri methi and gram masala. Mix well
  19. Pour gravy into serving bowl. Halve the Spinach balls and place in gravy and serve warm.
