Methi Vadas

Ingredients to make Methi Vadas

  • 2 cups gram flour
  • 1.5 cups methi leaves
  • 4 to 5 green chili, finely chopped
  • salt as per taste
  • 1 teaspoon ajwain
  • 1 teaspoon fennel powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp lemon juice
  • water as required
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • oil for frying

How to make Methi Vadas

  1. Wash and chop Methi leaves
  2. Add all ingredients except oil and mix well to form a smooth thick batter
  3. Heat oil for frying. Drop batter in hot oil and deep fry until golden brown over medium heat and crisp
  4. Serve hot with tandoori dip/ sauce
