ABOUT Naga Style Brahmi Leaves Chutney RECIPE

The superb herb brahmi leaves in a Naga Style Chutney. Brahmi is one super food having lots of medicinal properties. It is also used widely in ayurveda.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Brahmi leaves - 2 cups
  2. Green chili - 10-12
  3. Tomato - 1 large
  4. Dry Fish - 1 medium
  5. Garlic - 4-5
  6. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash brahmi leaves and seperate the leaves.
  2. Prick the green chilies. Heat a tawa and roast the green chilies, tomato and dry fish for about 10-12 mins.
  3. In a mortar and pestle, coarsely grind the green chilies, garlic cloves and dry fish.
  4. Then add the peeled tomatoes and ground them coarsely.
  5. Transfer chutney in a serving bowl, add brahmi leaves, mix well and serve.
