ABOUT Palak Fara in bhakarbadi style RECIPE

A dish famous in U.P. and Bihar but I gave a twist and made it an Maharastrian dish fara in Bhakarbadi style.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Wheat flour 1 bowl
  2. Beasan 1/2
  3. Palak chopped 1/4 bowl
  4. Dhania powder 1 teaspoon
  5. Garam masala 1/2 teaspoon
  6. Amchur powder 1 teaspoon
  7. Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon
  8. Haldi powder 1/2 teaspoon
  9. White til 2 teaspoon
  10. Sarson dana 1 teaspoon
  11. Chopped Dhaniya patti 2 teaspoon
  12. Salt to taste
  13. water to knead
  14. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl add wheat flour and kneadnit like roti dough . Keep aside for 15 min
  2. Tale anothwr bowl, add besan and all ingredients except sarson dana and til. Make a smooth paste
  3. Take a ball from wheat dough , roll it like roti. Apply besan paste.on it and roll it like bhakarbadi.
  4. Steam these rolls for 15-20 min. Take out cool and cut in 1 inch pieces
  5. Fry it in oil.
  6. Take another wok . Make tadka of sarson dana and while till . Pour on the Fara.
  7. Serve hot with choice of your sauce.
