ABOUT Homemade White Butter RECIPE

I used to love white butter back home, we had a special dairy shop who used to sell this butter which my parents regularly bought for my sister and myself. I remember that we devoured this treat easily!

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 1 pint of heavy cream/500 ml
  2. 4 tbsp of ice chilled water
  3. For flavoring you can use either salt, garlic or parsley

Instructions

  1. Take a big bowl if using hand mixture otherwise pour the heavy cream in the stand mixture jar. First start with slow setting and mix it. (You can use hand mixture or stand mixture what ever you have. I used hand mixture.)
  2. The heavy cream will become whipped cream. Now go ahead and make one more step ahead and fasten this process.
  3. Add 4 tbsp of ice cold water and beat the cream till it changes the color and leaves buttermilk. Beat till the buttermilk and butter separate.
  4. After mixing, it took me around 20 minutes to get the buttermilk as seen in the picture. Once this is all done, take a big sieve and strain the butter.
  5. Leave it aside till all the water is out otherwise the butter will go bad. Once its all dry, use your hands and make sure no single drop of water is there.
  6. Store it in the container and keep it in the fridge and use it as required.
