ABOUT Mooli ki Sabji RECIPE

Radishes are low in digestible carbohydrates, high in roughage, and contain a lot of water, thus becoming a very good dietary option for those who are determined to lose weight. Furthermore, they are high in fiber and low on the glycemic index, which means that they increase regular bowel movements, which helps in weight loss, and increases the efficiency of the metabolism for all bodily processes.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1 cup radish
  2. 1/2 tsp minute sliced green chillie
  3. 1/2 tsp jeera
  4. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder or red chillies
  5. 1/2 tsp turmeric
  6. 1/2 tsp dhaniya powder
  7. salt as per taste buds


  1. Cut the radish and keep it aside , meanwhile in a hot pan put some oil and jeera, once the jeera is ready to crackle now add radish
  2. After few minutes add salt, red chilli, dhaniya and turmeric powder and allow to cook for 5 minutes
  3. The Mooli ki Sabji is ready to be served with Roti or Rice
