Ingredients to make Soya chunks and potato sabji (Dry)

  • 2 potatoes, boiled
  • 3/4 cup soya chunks
  • 1 tsp fennel seeds
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tomato, finely chopped
  • few curry leaves
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chilly powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala powder
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped coriander leaves
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • salt to taste

How to make Soya chunks and potato sabji (Dry)

  1. POUR HOT WATER TO THE SOYA CHUNKS.
  2. AFTER 10 MINUTES SQUEEZE THE SOYACHUNKS WELL WITHOUT ANY WATER IN IT
  3. HEAT THE OIL AND ADD FENNEL
  4. ADD ONIONS
  5. STIR AND SAUTE IT WELL
  6. ADD TOMATOES
  7. ADD CURRY LEAVES
  8. SAUTE ON MEDIUM HEAT FOR 2 MINUTES
  9. ADD TURMERIC POWDER
  10. ADD CHILLY POWDER
  11. MIX THEM WELL
  12. ADD THE SQUEEZED SOYA CHUNKS
  13. ADD THE BOILED AND CUBED POTATOES
  14. MIX THEM GENTLY
  15. ADD THE REQUIRED SALT
  16. ADD 1/2 CUP WATER
  17. COOK ON A MEDIUM HEAT FOR 3 MINUTES
  18. ADD THE GARAM MASALA POWDER
  19. COOK TILL THE SOYA CHUNKS AND POTATOES TURN LIGHT BROWN IN COLOUR
  20. ADD THE CORIANDER LEAVES
  21. MIX WELL AND COOK FOR ANOTHER 2 MINUTES.
  22. SOYA CHUNKS AND POTATO SABJI (DRY) IS READY TO SERVE
