Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Raw rice- 1cup
  2. Greek yogurt-500gms
  3. Green chillies-2
  4. Red chillies-2
  5. Coriander seeds- little
  6. Mustard seeds- little
  7. Cumin - little
  8. Split urid dal
  9. Channa dal- little
  10. Cashews- little
  11. Curry leaves- 10
  12. Oil- 2 spoons
  13. Ginger- 1/2 inch slice ( finely chopped)

Instructions

  1. In a pressure cooker, add 1 cup raw rice and 3 cups water , 1 spoon salt and cook for 3 whistles.
  2. After opening the lid, mash the rice.
  3. Add yogurt and little spiced buttermilk .
  4. In a pan, add little oil and mustard seeds, urid dal, cumin, channa dal, coriander seeds, cashews, chillies, ginger and curry leaves.
  5. Add this seasoning to yogurt rice and serve.
