Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Oats powder 1 cup
  2. Besan/Chana Aatta 1/4 cup
  3. Rava 2 tbsp
  4. Tomato 1 small/medium size
  5. Garlic 4 to 5 cloves
  6. Ginger paste 1 tsp
  7. Green chilli 1 piece
  8. Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  9. Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  10. Dhania powder 1/4 tsp
  11. Cumin powder 1/4 tsp
  12. Salt as required
  13. Curd 1/4 cup
  14. Water as required

Instructions

  1. In a bowl mix all the ingredients except tomato, garlic, ginger, green chilli. The consistency of the batter shld be smooth and pouring like a dosa batter.
  2. In a mixture add the tomato garlic ginger and green chilli and churn to make a paste.
  3. Add the tomato paste to the oats batter. Cover the batter and let it rest for 10 mins.
  4. After 10 mins check the consistency if it has become thick add somw water. Heat a non stick tawa and spread the batter on a non stick tawa like a dosa. Add one tsp oil on sides. Cook on both sides on medium flame.
  5. Since the batter contains oats after each chilla add a few drops of water on the tava to keep the temperature low or the batter will not spread.
  6. Serve hot with ketchup/chutney.
