Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 100 gms fenugreek seeds
  2. 250 gms clarified butter / Desi Ghee
  3. 3 tbsp poppy seeds
  4. 1 tbsp black pepper
  5. 1/2 tsp green cardamom
  6. 50 gms dry ginger powder
  7. 75 gms grated dry coconut
  8. 50 gms edible gum / dink / gond
  9. 100 gms almonds and cashews chopped
  10. 300 gms of corn flour
  11. 100 gms of dry dates powder / chhuhara
  12. 500 gms of jaggery

Instructions

  1. grind 100 gms fenugreek seeds and soak it in 150 ml of lukewarm desi ghee for 3-4 hrs. if you take ghee at room temeratue you will hame to soak it for 6-7 hrs.
  2. roast poppy seeds and green cardamom and grind with black pepper. roast grated dry cocony in 1-2 tbsp ghee till it just starts to change its colour. similarly roast the chopped nuts.
  3. take 100 ml of desi ghee in a kadai. fry dink on a medium heat till it turns into nice golden colour. when it cools down roll a rolling pin on it so that it gets coarsely grinded.
  4. in the kadai add another 100 ml of desi ghee and roast the corn flour till it looses irs raw aroma...its colour will also turn pale yellow in colour.
  5. now roast the soaked fenugreek seeds till it turns into nice golden colour...take all the roasted ingredients in a mixing bowl...add the dry ginger powder...add the dry dates powder...mix them well
  6. now add the jaggery in the kadai...let it melt...no need to add water...as soon as it melts put it into the mixing bowl...mix all the ingredients well with the melted jaggery....
  7. quickly start to bind the laddoos...before the jaggery cools and become hard...come one laddoo every morning to cure joint and waist pains...these laddoos are highly recommended for the new moms...
