Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. FOR THE ICECREAM
  2. 1/2 litre milk
  3. 1 box Amul cream
  4. Condense milk 4 to 5 tbsp(you can use more if u like it sweet)
  5. 1 pod vanilla bean
  6. FOR THE SESAME CRISP
  7. 2 tbsp Butter
  8. 2 tbsp Sugar
  9. 1 tbsp Honey
  10. 2 tbsp Flour
  11. Kosher salt 1 pinch
  12. 1/3 cup mixed sesame seeds
  13. FOR SAFFRON OIL
  14. A big pinch saffron
  15. 1 tsp hot water
  16. 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. FOR VANILLA ICECREAM
  2. Take the milk, cream and condense milk in a pot and let it boil
  3. Take the vanilla pod cut it open and scrape the beans
  4. Add the beans along with the pod in the milk
  5. Taste the milk mix.If you feel more condense milk is needed at this stage
  6. When the milk reduced to half switch off the flame
  7. Strain the mixture and let it cool
  8. Fill in a airtight box and freeze
  9. After an hour or two remove and churn the mixture
  10. You can use a hand blender too
  11. Again keep it in the box and let it set
  12. Overnight will be better
  13. FOR THE SESAME CRISPS
  14. Take the butter and melt it
  15. Add sugar
  16. Add flour
  17. Add the honey
  18. Add kosher salt
  19. Lastly add the sesame seeds
  20. Form a dough
  21. Flatten it very think and bake in a preheated oven for 20 to 25 mins
  22. Or till it's golden in colour and crispy
  23. FOR SAFFRON INFUSED OIL
  24. Take the SAFFRON and put it on a spoon
  25. Heat the spoon a little
  26. Add hot water to the SAFFRON
  27. After 10 mins add the olive oil.Saffron oil is ready
  28. ASSEMBLY
  29. Scoop the vanilla ice cream and drizzle the SAFFRON oil over it
  30. Break the sesame crisps with hand and garnish with it
  31. Sesame SAFFRON and vanilla....amazing dessert
