Very healthy and tasty rasam in just 15 min.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Tomatoes-4
  2. Salt- 1 spoon
  3. Turmeric- a dash
  4. Pepper corns-12
  5. Chilli powder- littler
  6. Coriander powder
  7. Ginger garlic paste-1tsp
  8. Tamarind- lemon size

Instructions

  1. In a blender, add tomatoes, salt, turmeric, pepper, ginger garlic paste,cumin,coriander powder,tamarind and blend well.
  2. Transfer this thick paste to a vessel and add 3 glasses of water. Add chopped coriander and boil for 15 min.
  3. Do the seasoning with little oil and mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, cumin, urid dal , channa dal and curry leaves.
  4. Add this seasoning to rasam and serve hot with rice.
