Ingredients to make Pui shak (veg)

  • Pui - 2 bunch
  • onion - 1, small, chopped
  • Raddish - 2, chopped
  • pumpkin - 150 gm, chopped
  • peas - 1 handful (optional)
  • ginger - 1 tsp
  • cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Panch phoron - 1 tsp
  • Green chili - 2, broken
  • turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  • sugar - 1/2 tsp
  • mustard oil - 1 tsp

How to make Pui shak (veg)

  1. Heat oil, add five spice, chili
  2. Add onion, fry 2-3 min
  3. Add other veggies except the greens, fry for 5 min
  4. Add greens, cook for 5 min, with lid on
  5. Add ginger, cumin, turmeric, sugar, cook for 5-7 min
  6. It's a dry dish. If still water is there, that released from the greens, you need to dry it up
  7. At the end, add mustard oil, mix well
