Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 1 and 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  2. 1 cup butter milk
  3. 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  4. 1 cup powdered sugar
  5. 1/2 tsp salt
  6. 1 tsp baking soda
  7. 1 tsp vanilla essence
  8. 1/4 cup cocoa
  9. 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
  10. 1/4 tsp laung powder
  11. 1/4 tsp nutmeg powder
  12. 1/2 tsp cardmom powder
  13. 1/2 tsp ginger powder


  1. Pre heat oven at 180 degrees
  2. Melt butter or keep them in room temperature. It should not be cold before you start using it.
  3. Add powdered sugar into it. And mix till it becomes creamy in texture. Add butter milk slowly and mix well
  4. Mix all purpose flour, baking soda, cocoa powder, salt, powder of all spices. Sieve ingredients 2 times.
  5. Mix wet ingredients with dry ingredients and mix them properly. Add vanilla essence into it. And form batter consistency..
  6. Transfer it into tea cake moulds. And bake it in pre heated oven at 180 degrees for 25-30 mins.
  7. Once it's cool down cut them into pieces. Sprinkle icing sugar on it. And serve it
