Spicy roasted cauliflower

ABOUT Spicy roasted cauliflower RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. One large head of cauliflower
  2. One large carrot
  3. Three tbsp of olive oil
  4. Half two of turmeric powder
  5. One tsp Red chilli powder
  6. One fourth tsp cumin powder
  7. One half tsp coriander powder
  8. A small grating of nutmeg
  9. Salt to taste
  10. Basil leaves to garnish
  11. Roasted red chilli flakes to sprinkle on top

Instructions

  1. Clean and seperate the florets of the cauliflower
  2. Set the oven to preheat at 180 degrees
  3. Soak them in salted warm water for 10 minutes
  4. Meanwhile clean and cut the carrots into half inch semicircles
  5. Drain the cauliflower and set aside
  6. In small bowl mix all the dry spices except the garnishes and the oil.
  7. Place the veggies on a sheet pan and sprinkle the dry mix
  8. Drizzle in the oil and gently rub the mix into the cauliflower
  9. Place in the oven to roast for 30 minutes at 180
  10. Remove after the time, sprinkle in crushed chilli flakes and finely chopped basil
  11. Serve warm
