This palak ka saag is just tampered with fenugreek seeds, red chilies and garlic....which adds a very earthy flavour to it...potato and brinjal makes this sabji more flavorful....

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 bundle spinach cleaned and chopped
  2. 2 medium potatoes diced
  3. 2 small brinjals diced
  4. 2 medium tomatoes diced
  5. 1/4 tsp Fenugreek seeds
  6. 4 spicy red chilies
  7. 2 tbsp chopped garlic
  8. 1/4 turmeric powder
  9. Salt to taste
  10. 3-4 tbsp oil

Instructions

  1. Start to heat oil in a kadai...add fenugreek seeds and red chilies to it...add garlic too and cook till it turns golden brown in colour...
  2. Add potatoes and brinjals and sauté for around a minute...
  3. Add the chopped spinach leaves and mix it well cover and cook it on a low heat for a minute....
  4. Open the lid add the tomatoes, mix it well... add turmeric powder and salt to taste...mix it.... again cover and cook for 3-4 minutes...
  5. Cook till the moisture released by the spinach leaves dries out...
  6. Open and cook for a minute more...
  7. Delicious palak ka saag is ready to serve....
