ABOUT Grilled Masala Pomfret RECIPE

This grilled masala pomfret is an exotic dish to enjoy in any lunch or dinner party. There are burst of flavour of different spices. The distinct taste of pomfret along with many spices makes it an scrumptious dish for pomfret lovers.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Pomfret fish 3 large sized and cleared
  2. Coriander seeds 1 tea spoon roasted powdered
  3. Whole cinnamon, clove, cardamom roasted and powdered 1 tea spoon
  4. Red chili powder 1 tea spoon
  5. Hung curd half cup
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Mustard oil 2 table spoon
  8. Ginger garlic paste 2 tea spoon
  9. Lemon juice 2 tea spoon
  10. Nutmeg powder 1 pinch

Instructions

  1. Make incisions on the body of the cleared pomfret fish.
  2. Add all the ingredients of marination in a bowl.
  3. Mix very well.
  4. Now add the fishes in this mixture and marinade for 30 minutes.
  5. Now preheat the oven 180C for 15 minutes.
  6. Cover a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  7. Brush some ghee on the foil.
  8. Now place the fishes over the foil.
  9. First bake for 20 minutes each side and then grill each side until the nice brown colour of grilling appears over the fish.
  10. Takes 15 minutes approximately in each side.
  11. Serve hot with salad, lemon wedges and dips of your choice.
