Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 beetroot - peeled and cut in 1 inch pieces
  2. 1/4 tsp mustard seeds
  3. 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  4. pinch chilli powder
  5. 2 tsp oil
  6. Salt to taste


  1. Heat a pan and pour 2 tsp oil
  2. Add 1/4 tsp mustard seeds add sliced beetroot and cook for 1 minute
  3. Add 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, pinch of chilli powder and salt to taste.
  4. Cover and cook on low heat for 5 minutes
  5. Remove from heat and Serve warm during lunch as finger foods.
