I always love to add the aroma of Cloves, bay leaves and Cinnamon in Rice.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Rice 1 cup.( Basmati / any of your choice).
  2. Clarified butter 1 tbsp
  3. Zeera 1/2 tsp.
  4. Cloves 5 to 6.
  5. Cinnamon 1 little finger sized broken piece.
  6. Bay leaves 2
  7. Salt to taste.

Instructions

  1. Wash and soak Rice.
  2. Heat ghee in a pan. Add Cloves and Cinnamon.
  3. As it Splitter add Bay leaves and Serra ( Cumin).
  4. Now add soaked rice , saute till brown.
  5. Add green peas and salt to taste.
  6. Add required hot water and cook on medium flame.
  7. After cooked garnish with coriander leaves .
  8. Serve with your favourite soup or curry.
