ABOUT Savoury Rice Balls (Palakayalu) RECIPE

This recipe is inspiration from my grand mother's recipe and it can be given to children who are 2 to 3+.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Ajwain-2 tsp
  2. Milk-4 tsp
  3. Rice flour-1 cup
  4. Oil-for deep fry
  5. Salt-a little pinch for babies for adults as needed

Instructions

  1. Take one cup of rice and dry well in sun light
  2. After drying make it into a flour
  3. Now take that flour and add a little pinch of salt
  4. And add the ajwain
  5. And add the milk and make it into a dough
  6. Now take a little dough and make it into pea sized balls
  7. And dry them for 30 min again (if it is not dried it will burst in oil)
  8. Now take a pan and add oil for deep frying and drop the balls and keep lid and fry till it turns to brown and take out
