This is an easy recipe and simply delicious. Tomato Soup is always good as a starter or light meal with salad and crusty bread.

Ingredients Serving: 2
4 large tomato
2 tbsp sugar
1/2 tbsp salt
1/2 tbsp red chilli powder
1 tbsp ghee or butter or oil as you wish
curry leaves - 10
2 cloves
1 crusty bread
Instructions
Take a pan put in 2 glass of water and boil the tomatoes in it for 5 minutes, then blend this in a blender to make a puree of it.
Pour this into another pan and boil this well, then add all the masalas . Heat the oil in a saucepan over medium heat and add the cumin seed and asafoetida ,cloves.
Add the tomato puree to it and let this boil. When the soup boils, turn the heat to low and let it simmer for three to four minutes.
Serve hot, I like to serve with few pieces of crusty bread.
