This is a famous sweet dish from Rajasthan, especially during krishna-ashtami. Follow this easy recipe to make this at home.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Gram flour or besan 1/4 th cup
  2. Ghee 4 tbsp
  3. Sugar 6-7 tbsp
  4. Milk 1 cup
  5. Cardamom powder 1 tsp
  6. Milk powder 1 tbsp
  7. Coconut powder 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  1. Heat a heavy bottomed wok with some ghee, then add the besan. Roast this mixture on a low flame.
  2. Once this turns light brown in color, add the cardamom powder to it. Mix it well.
  3. Then add milk,milk powder and sugar to it, mix well.
  4. Keep stirring and mixing it so that there are no lumps.
  5. When it becomes thick, its done..
  6. Grease the plate with ghee
  7. Then spread all the batter in it.. Sprinkle coconut powder..
  8. When it becomes properly set, cut this into pieces and serve it.
