ABOUT Fruit Curd Rice RECIPE

Curd Rice is a South Indian delicacy . The main ingredients curd which keeps the body cool. It is very useful for the pregnant woman at their first stage when they felt nausea and vomiting . Though this recipe contains curd and fruits it balance the calcium and other vitamin benefits to a pregnant woman

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Rice -1/4 cup
  2. Curd -300gm
  3. sugar -2 tbsp
  4. salt - 1/2 tbsp
  5. fruits - apple, pomegranate, banana chopped -1 cup
  6. mustard seeds -1 tbsp
  7. dry chilli -1
  8. peanuts roasted -10 pc
  9. curry leaves -5

Instructions

  1. Cook the rice in a medium flame till become soft .
  2. Drain the water from the rice and set it cool
  3. In a bowl whisk the curd
  4. Add Sugar , Salt and the rice and mix well and keep aside
  5. chopped the apple , pomegranate and banana and mix with the rice
  6. In a pan put lil oil , add some mustard seed , peanuts , dry chilli and curry leaves and fry for few sec
  7. Add the curd rice and mix well
  8. Serve it cool or normal
