This is a quick and easy starter made with beetroots. a perfect starter for all occasions.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Beetroots [chopped] - 1 cup
  2. cauliflower florets - 1/2 cup
  3. Beans [chopped] - 1/2 cup
  4. carrots [chopped] - 1/2 cup
  5. onion [chopped] - 1
  6. garlic [chopped] - 1 tbsp
  7. groundnuts [coarsely ground] - 1/4 th cup
  8. salt
  9. soy sauce - 1 tbsp
  10. cornflour - 3 tbsp
  11. boiled and mashed potatoes - 1/2 cup
  12. Refined oil

Instructions

  1. Heat a pan with some oil, add the chopped garlic and saute for few seconds. Then add the chopped onion and saute until golden brown.
  2. Then add the chopped vegetables, salt, soy sauce and cook until they are mushy and dry enough. Let the mixture get cooled down enough.
  3. Then mix the mashed potatoes, cornflour into the mixture, shape them into cutlets. Now heat ample amount of oil and deep fry the cutlets. Serve them hot with some tomato sauce.
