I tried these for the first time and these pizzas-on-a-stick were an instant hit with my kids.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. all purpose flour 250 gms
  2. sugar 1 teaspoon
  3. yeast 2 teaspoon
  4. salt to taste
  5. Vegetable oil 1 teaspoon
  6. Required water
  7. tomato sauce 2 Tablespoons
  8. Red chilli sauce 1 Tablespoon
  9. Chopped onion 2 Tablespoons
  10. Chopped capsicum 2 Tablespoons
  11. Chopped tomato 1 teaspoon
  12. Some chilli Flakes
  13. Some oregano
  14. Grated pizza cheese

Instructions

  1. Pour warm water in a bowl and add yeast.
  2. Add sugar and mix well. Set aside for 10 minutes.
  3. Once the yeast turns frothy, add the flour.
  4. Add vegetable oil and knead into a soft dough.
  5. Cover the dough and keep aside for 30 mins, until it doubles in size.
  6. Form balls from the dough and roll them.
  7. Roll the dough into a round shape.
  8. Roll into a thin base.
  9. Put the base into a round pan.
  10. After 15 minutes, make impressions with a fork in the base.
  11. Make an instant pizza sauce and a tomato sauce.
  12. Add some chilli sauce, finely chopped onion, tomato and green capsicum. Mix well.
  13. Remove pizza base from the oven. The pizza base can be refrigerated for 1 week.
  14. Apply pizza sauce and grated cheese.
  15. Cut into strips. Place strips in a greased baking tray.
  16. Bake in preheated oven at 180 degree Celsius for 12-15 minutes.
  17. Let pizza sticks cool for 10 minutes. Serve.
