This recipe is very good for elders and pregnant ladies.Turnip is full of nutrition. It is easy to digest and very yummy.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Turnip 4
  2. Heeng Chutki
  3. cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
  4. sugat 1/2 tsp
  5. Mustard oil 1 tablespoon
  6. whole wheat Atta kneaded
  7. Any oil 1 tsp
  8. salt and black pepper to taste


  1. First Grate the turnips
  2. Take a wok add oil , Heeng and jeera
  3. Add turnip and cook for 10 - 15 minutes till it dries
  4. Add salt and pepper
  5. There should be no water left in turnip
  6. Add 1 tsp sugar
  7. Mix it well and let it cool
  8. Now take Whole wheat atta and roll it .
  9. Fill the ready filling of turnip and Roll it in the shape of chapati
  10. Heat Tawa and apply some mustard oil and make the Parantha.
  11. Serve with curd and enjoy this light and yummy Parantha
