Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Wheat flour 2 cups
  2. Salt - 1 tsp
  3. Sugar - 1 tbsp
  4. Oil - 1/2 cup
  5. Warm water
  6. Fruits of your choices [apples, strawberries] - 1/2 cup
  7. Cream cheese - 1/4 th cup
  8. Butter - 100 gm

Instructions

  1. Combine the 1st four ingredients and knead the dough by adding water in small quantity. It should be a semi soft dough just ike we knead for rotis, and rest them for 30 minutes.
  2. Next step in prepare layers by adding butter and folding them For that ,We need butter one set 100 gms.It should be chilled and hard.
  3. Pat butter from rolling pin (belan) just to make littl bit thin. Now take the half dough knead soft edges and roll like the normal size chapati. Place butter in between the rolled like chapati and cover the butter by making the square. Roll slightly (with stuffed butter inside). It should be in rectangle shape.
  4. Dont spend too much time in this process else butter will start to melt. Keep in fridge for about 2 hrs. Again take it out wait for 5 min and roll again and keep folding as we fold out brackets. You can follow this steps as many times possible.
  5. For filling : I have used cream cheese, sugar, mango and strawberry pulp. You can use either salty filling like samosa and veg sandwiches or sweet like chocolates, nutella, mixed fruits, jams etc.
  6. You can make any kind of shapes like starts or heart. So filling and shapes are totally on your experimenting. Bake your pastry at 200 °c for 15-20 mins . Cool =, cut and serve.
