Quick Dosa

Ingredients to make Quick Dosa

  • atta / Multigrain atta 1 cup
  • Rava [semolina] 1 cup
  • Rice flour 1/2 cup
  • Hing [asafoetida]
  • green chillies 2
  • curry leaves
  • salt
  • jeera [cumin seeds] 1/2 tsp
  • pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Ajwain [carom seeds] - 1 tsp optional
  • ginger optional 1 tbsp
  • cashew nuts optional - 10
  • oil for preparing dosa
  • onion half

How to make Quick Dosa

  1. ADD 1 CUP MULTIGRAIN ATTA OR PLAIN ATTA AND 1 CUP RAVA
  2. ADD HALF CUP RICE FLOUR
  3. ADD SALT, 1/2 TSP JEERA, AJWAIN, HING AND FINELY CHOPPED 2 GREEN CHILLIES
  4. ADD CHOPPED GINGER, PEPPER AND CASHEWS
  5. ADD 4 CUPS OF WATER. MIX WELL. REST FOR 5 MINS
  6. ADD CURRY LEAVES AND MIX WELL. DOSA SHOULD BE POURING CONSISTENCY
  7. (GREASE DOSA WITH HALF CUT ONION AND OIL. TAWA SHOULD NOT HAVE ANY DOSA REMAINING WHEN YOU SPREAD DOSA) SPREAD DOSA ON HOT TAWA
  8. FLIP ON BOTH SIDES. COOK ON MEDIUM FLAME

My Tip:

Tawa should not have strains everytime you spread dosa. use half cut onion and oil to grease everytime you make dosa
