ABOUT Peanut arabian bliss RECIPE

It is a combination of dates, oats, peanut butter and honey. It is an excellent snack to eat during pregnancy as it contains all healthy and natural ingredients. Dates are natural sugars that easily break down in the body and won't increase blood sugar levels but will offer high energy. It also helps in preventing diabetes during pregnancy and reduces constipation. Oats are rich in many vitamins, minerals and folic acid which are all required during pregnancy. It also helps in producing breast milk. Peanut butter helps to provide immunity to your child if your not allergic to peanuts. Thus it is an excellent snack for pregnant as well as elderly..

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Powdered oats - 1 cup
  2. Wheat flour - half cup
  3. Honey - 3 tablespoon
  4. Peanut butter - 3 tablespoon
  5. Dates - 200g
  6. Water - 1/2 cup
  7. Salt- a pinch
  8. Baking powder - 1/4 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Boil water and dates till dates soften.
  2. Once it has softened remove from flame and cool
  3. Beat powdered oats, wheat flour, salt and baking powder in food processor
  4. Add honey and mix
  5. Add peanut butter and mix
  6. Mix till it forms sand like mixture.
  7. Preheat the oven at 200°C
  8. Grease the bottom of the pan with butter.
  9. And line with parchment paper.
  10. Add half of the oats mixture to the baking pan
  11. Press to form a smooth base.
  12. Puree the boiled dates in the food processor
  13. And add it to the pan
  14. Smoothen it.
  15. Then add the remaining oats mixture over the dates and smoothen it
  16. Place it in the oven for 15 min
  17. Allow to cool to room temperature
  18. Refrigerate for 10 min
  19. Take out from fridge and place it upside down on a tray
  20. Cut it into squares
  21. Can be eaten plain or along with chocolate sauce
