Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 3 medium sized boiled potatoes
  2. 1/4 cup mozerella cheese or processed cheese
  3. 2 tbsp Cilantro finely chopped
  4. 1 tsp sugar
  5. 1 tbsp lemon juice
  6. 1 tbsp garam masala
  7. 2 tbsp ginger green chilli paste
  8. 2 tbsp rava
  9. 1 cup wheat flour
  10. Salt for taste
  11. Oil
  12. Water for kneading if required

Instructions

  1. In a bowl take the boiled potatoes and mash them. Now add the wheat flour, rava, ginger green chilli paste, sugar, salt, garam masala, cilantro, cheese and lemon juice and knead into soft dough. Add water using spoon (one spoon at a time) only if required. Let the dough rest for 10 mins.
  2. After ten mins gently knead the dough and make small round balls of equal size from the dough. Take one ball and roll like a roti using rolling pin. Make roti of all the balls.
  3. Cook the roti on the tava using oil on medium flame. Serve these rotis hot with punjabi vegetable of choice or just as main dish with green chutney and dahi.
