ABOUT Dates rice pudding RECIPE

Dates are very healthy and iron rich fruit.... Its taste is so yummy. Kids doesn't eat dates but from this way they definately love it.. This recipe is best for elders as no sugar in it. .

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Dates 3/4 cup seedless
  2. Milk powder 3/4 cup
  3. Milk 1 cup
  4. Cooked rice 4 tbsp
  5. Almond 2 tbsp chopped
  6. Raisins 2 tbsp chopped
  7. Cardamom powder 1/4 tbsp


  1. Add cooked rice and water in a microwave safe bowl and put in microwave for 2 miutes on high mode.
  2. After 2 minutes rice will become more soft. Take out the bowl and smash the rice.
  3. Now add 3/4 cup of milk and again put in microwave with lid on it for 3 minutes on high mode.
  4. After 3 minutes take out the bowl and add dates in hot milk and rice mixture and mix.
  5. Add milk powder, Cardamom powder and remaining milk and mix and microwave it for 3 minutes on high mode.
  6. Add chopped dryfruits in the pudding and put this in microwave for 2 minutes.
  7. And your dates pudding is ready. Garnish it with wholenut.
