ABOUT BOTTLE GOURD KI SHOLE RECIPE

Bottle Gourd ki Shole is the fusion of doodhi koftas , here bottle gourd retains its crunchiness in these crisp koftas simmered in tangy tomato gravy .

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Grated bottle gourd - 1 cup
  2. Rice flour - 4 tablespoons
  3. Coriander powder - 1teaspoon
  4. Oil for deep fried
  5. Fresh cream - 1/4 cup
  6. Red chilli powder - 1teaspoon
  7. Whole garam masala - 1teaspoon
  8. Cumin seeds - 1teaspoon
  9. Bay leaf - 2 no
  10. Tomato puree - 1 cup
  11. Cumin powder - 1teaspoon
  12. Salt to taste
  13. Sugar - 1teaspoon

Instructions

  1. MIX ALL INGREDIENTS AND MAKE SMALL BALLS OUT OF THE BATTER AND DEEP FRY THEM IN HOT OIL. STRAIN AND KEEP ASIDE.
  2. TO MAKE THE GRAVY, HEAT A PAN, ADD GHEE AND BAY LEAF AND WHOLE GARAM MASALA .
  3. THEN ADD TOMATO PUREE AND ALL SPICE POWDERS, SAUTE WELL AND ADD CREAM AND THEN ADD THE KOFTAS AND 1/2 CUP OF WATER . LET THE GRAVY BUBBLE UP WELL AND THEN SERVE.
