ABOUT French Beans Roast... RECIPE

The only thing i have done here is made it into an innovative veg dish by roasting it in ghee just like that of very famous non veg dish- mutton or chicken roast . This is my take on the popular non veg dish. And let me tell you all that it is infact more tastier and crispier than the original one. Try this super easy innovative dish for your loved ones and enjoy it's enticing flavour and captivating aroma. Happy Cooking Friends !!!!!!!!

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Green beans very finely chopped 250 gms
  2. Ghee 2 tbsp heaped
  3. Salt 1 tsp
  4. Green chillies chopped 2
  5. Roasted cumin powder 1 tsp
  6. Roasted and ground dry red chilli powder 1 tsp
  7. Roasted coriander powder 1 tsp
  8. Coriander leaves chopped a handful
  9. Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  10. Bell peppers cubed/diced 2
  11. Lemon juice 1 tbsp (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a pan, heat ghee and add the ginger garlic paste, green chillies and all the other spices.
  2. Saute well for a minute. Now add the chopped green beans and the diced bell peppers.
  3. Cover and cook just for about 3 to 4 minutes on a low flame. After that, open the lid and stir fry them on a medium flame by stirring continuously.
  4. I have added bell peppers just for an extra flavour. You can skip that if desired.
  5. Do not add any water.
  6. As the beans are thinly chopped, they get perfectly roasted in no time.
  7. Squeeze some lemon juice for the tanginess.
  8. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander and serve hot with zeera rice. You will love the combo to the fullest.
