During pregnancy, everybody there to take care of healthy diet.This dish is one among the very healthy taditional dish.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. raw rice - 75 gm
  2. garlic cloves - 15
  3. cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
  4. Fenugreek seeds - 1/4 tsp
  5. Green chilli - 2
  6. tomato small - 1
  7. onion small- 1
  8. chopped coriander - 2tbsp
  9. Curry leaves - 2 arc
  10. ghee & oil - each 1 tsp
  11. coconut milk or cows milk - half cup
  12. salt - To taste.

Instructions

  1. Pressure cooker, add 4 cups of water,add washed rice,chopped garlic, onion,tomato,green chilli,cumin & fenugreek seeds and salt to taste.
  2. Close with lid,put weight, when first whistle comes ,low the flame.cook for 10 minutes. switch off.
  3. After pressure release .mash it well.
  4. For seasoning heat ghee and oil mix ,add curry leaves when it splutters add coconut milk and salt to taste.
  5. Pour this seasoning to the cooked porridge in the pressure cooker.Mix well.adjust the consistency.
  6. Ready ! Serve with coriander or mint chutney. for mint or coriander chutney ,ingredients are handful fresh mint or coriander leaves,green chillie 2, grated coconut 2 tbsp,little salt and tamarind to taste,slightly dry roast, grind to paste
