Oats veg porridge

Ingredients to make Oats veg porridge

  • oats - 100 gm
  • water - 750 ml
  • boiled milk - 250 ml
  • chopped carrot - 1
  • green peas - 1/4 cup
  • chopped garlic - 2 tbsp
  • chopped onion - 2 tbsp
  • slitted green chilli -2
  • chopped coriander leaves - 2tbsp
  • cumin seeds 1 tsp and fenugreek 1 /4 tsp ,powder it.
  • soup cube - 1 (optional)

How to make Oats veg porridge

  1. Soak oats in a bowl of water.
  2. In a heavy bottomed vessel add water, chopped onion,garlic,carrot,peas,chillies and adding soup cube is optional.if not prefer soup cubes add salt to taste.
  3. Bring to boil add the cumin,fenugreek powder.Let the vegetables cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Then add soaked oats ,mix well immediately.
  5. Add boiled milk.Mix well.
  6. No oil,so very healthy.
  7. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
  8. Ready ! Pour this to an individual bowl.Enjoy !
