A yummy curry made with turnips and peas to be served with some roti on the side.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 4 turnip
  2. 1cup green peas
  3. 2 onion
  4. 2 tomato
  5. 1tsp gng paste
  6. Salt 2 taste
  7. 1/4tsp red chilli
  8. 1/4tsp turmeric powder
  9. 1/4tsp garam masala
  10. 1/4tsp cumin seeds.
  11. Green coriander leaves


  1. Make a paste of onion and tomatoes.
  2. Heat oil in a cooker
  3. Add cumin seeds
  4. Now add the paste of onion and tomato.
  5. Saute well
  6. Add salt and rest of the powdered masalas.
  7. Add turnip cubes and peas.
  8. Cook in masala.
  9. Add 2 cups of water
  10. Cook till 4 whistles.
  11. Open and garnish with coriander leaves.
