Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1 cup boiled yellow split lentil
  2. 1/3 cup water
  3. salt as required
  4. 1/2 tsp turmeric
  5. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  6. 1/2 tsp chat masala
  7. 1 tsp ginger/ green chilli paste
  8. 3 tbsp butter
  9. 1/2 tsp cumin
  10. 1/4 asafoetida
  11. 2 tbsp chopped onion
  12. 2 tbsp chopped tomatoes
  13. 2 tbsp fresh coriander
  14. 1 tsp chopped green chilli
  15. 1 tsp lemon juice
  16. 1/4 tsp rosted crush dry red chilli
  17. 1/4 rosted crushed cumin

Instructions

  1. In hot pan add boiled yellow split lentil water, salt, turmeric, red chilli powder, chat masala, ginger/ green chilli paste and 1 tbsp butter and all mix sauté for few minutes
  2. In hot pan add butter and cumin seeds when cumin begin to crackle add asafoetida and stir it
  3. Add ginger/ green chilli paste and cook some times
  4. Add dal mix and cook few minutes
  5. In serving plat add prepare dal and sprinkle onion, tomato, green chilli, chat masala, lemon juice rosted crushed cumin powder and crushed dry red chilli and fresh coriander
