Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup semolina(Sooji)
  2. 1 cup curd
  3. Salt
  4. 1tsp oil
  5. 1 sachet eno
  6. For tempering...1tsp oil
  7. 1/4tsp cumin seeds
  8. 2 slit green chilies.
  9. 10 kari patta
  10. 1/4tsp mustard seeds.

Instructions

  1. Make a batter with suji [semolina], curd and salt by whisking them together.
  2. Add 1tsp oil.
  3. Stir well
  4. Rest for five minutes.
  5. Add eno
  6. Grease the idli mould.
  7. Pour the batter into the cavities.
  8. Steam the idlis.
  9. Heat oil in a pan
  10. Add cumin seeds
  11. Add mustard seeds.
  12. Add green chilli
  13. Add kari patta
  14. Pour tadka on idlis.
  15. Serve hot.
