ABOUT Stove Top Chicken Tikka RECIPE

An easy and tasty chicken starter made on stove top.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Chicken breast- 1\4 kg
  2. Bell pepper/capsicum- 1
  3. Onion-2 medium sized
  4. Hung curd- 1\4 cup
  5. Tandoori masala/tikka masala- 1 tsp
  6. Ginger-garlic paste- 1\2 tsp
  7. Turmeric powder- 1\2 tsp
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Oil as needed

Instructions

  1. Clean the chicken well, then cut it into small square shaped pieces of about 2 cm each. Remove the inner portion of the bell pepper and cut it and the onion in cube shapes.
  2. Put them in a bowl and add all the listed ingredients except the oil and mix well. Let it soak in this masala for about an hour.
  3. Take a bamboo skewer, arrange the marinated pieces in the order of - onion,capsicum,chicken and follow it. Repeat this process till all the marinated pieces are arranged in skewers.
  4. Heat oil in a flat tawa. Place the arranged skewers in it and roast it till it browns. Then flip and roast it on all sides.
  5. Serve hot with some sauces/ketchup on the side.
