Simple yet healthy recipe for all (toddler's to elderly).Dosa batter is grounded with fenugreek and south Indian sambhar with less spice is a delectable recipe.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. For dosa
  2. Idli rice 4cup
  3. Urud dhal 1cup
  4. Fenugreek seeds 2teaspoon
  5. For sambhar
  6. Toor dhal 1cup
  7. Onion 1
  8. Tomato 2
  9. Sambhar powder 1 teaspoon
  10. Tumeric powder 1/4 teaspoon
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Coriander leaves for garnishing
  13. For tempering
  14. Mustard seed 1/4 teaspoon
  15. Channa dhal 1/4 teaspoon
  16. Spilt urad dhal 1/4 teaspoon
  17. Asfitidaa 1/4 teaspoon
  18. Oil 1 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Soak rice, dhal and fenugreek seek together for 4 hours.
  2. Grind well and let it ferment for 8 hours.
  3. Pressure cook dhal, tomato, onion, sambhar and tumeric powder together.
  4. After 15minutes switch off flame and let the steam settle down.
  5. Temper it with mustard seed, urud dhal, channa dhal and aseofitida.
  6. Add salt to taste and let it boil for 3 minutes.
  7. Sambhar is done.
