Blueberry Cheese Cake

Ingredients to make Blueberry Cheese Cake

  • Blueberry jam / Crush / Whole berry - 4 tbsp
  • cream Cheese- 2 cups
  • Whipping cream- 1 cup
  • Whipping cream- 1 cup
  • sugar- 1/4 cup
  • Vanilla Essence- 1 tsp
  • Marie biscuits- 1 packet
  • butter (melted)- 50 gms
  • cinnamon powder- 1 tsp
  • sugar- 3 tbsp

How to make Blueberry Cheese Cake

  1. Crush the marie biscuits with a rolling pin or in a food processor. In this add the melted butter, cinnamon powder and sugar and crumble well till it resembles sand.
  2. Press this onto the bottom of a greased 9- inch spring form pan and chill in the refrigerator.
  3. Blend the cream cheese, whipping cream, lemon juice, sugar and vanilla essence until smooth. In this mix 3 tbsp of blueberry jam.
  4. Spread this over the refrigerated crumb base and smooth the edges with a spatula. Keep this in the refrigerator overnight or till it is completely set and firm.
  5. Run a knife around the edges of the pan to loosen the cake. Release pan sides and transfer to a platter.
  6. Decorate and enjoy yummy and creamy dessert.

My Tip:

If there are no berries, then we can simply make the cheese cake.

Shivali, usually cheese cakes are made using cream cheese. Just try in any bakery shops nearby or any cake baking stores.
