ABOUT Blueberry Cheese Cake RECIPE

I got this home made blue berry jam which my husband’s colleague gifted him, when he was in US last month. I thought of making this cake since I have always liked blue berry and wanted to cook some recipes with it.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Blueberry jam / Crush / Whole berry - 4 tbsp
  2. cream Cheese- 2 cups
  3. Whipping Cream- 1 cup
  4. Whipping Cream- 1 cup
  5. Sugar- 1/4 cup
  6. Vanilla Essence- 1 tsp
  7. Marie biscuits- 1 packet
  8. butter (melted)- 50 gms
  9. cinnamon powder- 1 tsp
  10. Sugar- 3 tbsp


  1. Crush the marie biscuits with a rolling pin or in a food processor. In this add the melted butter, cinnamon powder and sugar and crumble well till it resembles sand.
  2. Press this onto the bottom of a greased 9- inch spring form pan and chill in the refrigerator.
  3. Blend the cream cheese, whipping cream, lemon juice, sugar and vanilla essence until smooth. In this mix 3 tbsp of blueberry jam.
  4. Spread this over the refrigerated crumb base and smooth the edges with a spatula. Keep this in the refrigerator overnight or till it is completely set and firm.
  5. Run a knife around the edges of the pan to loosen the cake. Release pan sides and transfer to a platter.
  6. Decorate and enjoy yummy and creamy dessert.

Shivali, usually cheese cakes are made using cream cheese. Just try in any bakery shops nearby or any cake baking stores.

I am unable to acquire cream cheese in my city ..how to go about it?!
