Aloo tikkis are so famous all over India and so delicious. so make them at home with this easy recipe.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Boiled potato 3 Medium size
  2. Chopped Green chillies 1/2 tablespoon
  3. Chopped ginger 1/2 tablespoon
  4. Red chili powder 1/4 tablespoon
  5. salt as per your taste
  6. coriander powder 1/4 tablespoon
  7. Dry mango powder 1/2 tablespoon
  8. cumin powder 1/4 tablespoon
  9. Gram masala 1/2 tablespoon
  10. Chat masala 1/2 tablespoon
  11. Flattered rice or Poha 3 tablespoons
  12. Rice flour 1 tablespoon
  13. oil for frying
  14. curd 3 tablespoons
  15. tamarind chutney 2 tablespoons
  16. Green chutney 1 tablespoon
  17. water 2 tablespoons


  1. Soke flattered rice or Poha in 2 tablespoons water for 5 minutes.
  2. Peel and grate bolied potatoes.
  3. Add green chillies, ginger, red chili powder, salt, coriander powder, cumin powder, gram masala, chat masala, dry mango powder, soked flattered rice or poha and rice flour. Mix well.
  4. You can apply some oil on your palms and take some portion make medium size tikki.
  5. Heat oil on tava, gently place Aloo tikki and fry them.
  6. When one side of tikki become golden and crisp, turn over and fry the other side of tikki..
  7. Once both side done, drain it on kitchen paper to remove the excess oil.
  8. Served with curd, tamarind chutney and green chutney.
