Ingredients to make Fruit jam cake.

  • Vanilla cake base'(I have used Pillsbury vanilla cake premix)
  • whipped cream 2 cups
  • transperent glaze 2 to 3 tbsps
  • mixed fruits jam 2 tbsp
  • pineapple jam 2 tbsp
  • fresh fruits of your choice 1 pc of each fruit. ( at least 4 varieties should b used)
  • mango crush 2 spoons + 2 spoons water+ glaze 1 spoon.

How to make Fruit jam cake.

  1. Prepare cake from permix.
  2. Let it cool for 5 to 6 hours.
  3. Cut cake into two pieces.
  4. Soak in sugar syrup.
  5. Apply both the jams.
  6. Spread whipped cream.
  7. Cut half the fruits in tiny pieces.
  8. Add fruits glaze to save from blackening
  9. Now put these fruits over cream and keep another cake piece.
  10. Soak this part of cake.
  11. Apply whipped cream
  12. Finish the cake by evenly spreading whip cream.
  13. spread glaze & crush mixture on cake at edges.
  14. Decorate with jam and fruits as per choice. Fruits should be dipped with glaze to prevent blackening.

My Tip:

Tastes best when fresh fruits are used instead of tinned fruits.
