ABOUT Gulaab jamun RECIPE

This is a treditional Recipe. On every occasion of festivity in every Indian family all love to have gulabjamun.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Khoya 200 gm.
  2. Paneer 100 gm.
  3. Baking powder 1/4tsp
  4. Maida 2tbs
  5. Suji 1tbs
  6. Cardamom (peeled)3
  7. For sugar syrup
  8. Sugar 250gm.
  9. Water 1cup
  10. Kewda essance 1tbs

Instructions

  1. Mash khoya very well for getting lump free dough.
  2. Add paneer,Maida,suji, baking powder and mix it well for getting lump free dough.
  3. Add milk and mix it lightly. Make lemon size balls and flatten it keep cardamom inside and make cracks free balls cover it and keep aside.
  4. Heat oil in a wok on a midium lavel.put gulabjamun in it and fry till golden brown.
  5. Then put these gulabjamuns on a butter paper.
  6. For sugar syrup
  7. Boil water in a pan.add sugar and boil till it gets sticky. Add kewda essance.
  8. Off the flame.
  9. Put these gulabjamuns into the sugar syrup.
  10. Then keep this pan on low flame for 2-3min. Or till the gulabjamun softened.
  11. Serve hot with sliced almonds.
