ABOUT Chocolate Pudding RECIPE

A luscious, dream like 'Chocolate Pudding' to please your desire for 'Chocolate'. The ultimate dessert your Valentine would love to have at the end of the meal.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Fresh Cream - 200 ml (I used Amul Cream)
  2. Water - 1/4 cup
  3. Gelatin - 1 and 1/4 tbsp (I used Solar's Instant Gelatin)
  4. Caster sugar/white powdered sugar - 3 tbsp
  5. Instant coffee powder - 1 tsp
  6. Chocolate - 22 grams (milk/dark chocolate both will work)
  7. Cocoa powder- 1 tsp
  8. Vanilla extract - 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Mix gelatin with water (the water I used was at room temperature), stir well to make a lump free mixture. Keep this aside for 10 minutes.
  2. Chop the chocolate bar (I used Cadbury, any type of chocolate will do) and keep aside.
  3. Add cream and sugar in a bowl. On a low heat stir until its hot, there is no need to boil the cream. Remove it from heat.
  4. Add chopped chocolate, cocoa powder and coffee. Wait for 5-6 minutes. During this time the chocolate will melt, mix it well with a spoon.
  5. Now add the gelatin mixture into this. Mix and stir very well, no lump should be there. Add in the vanilla extract and mix well.
  6. Pour this pudding mixture equally into two ramekins or serving bowls whatever you are using.
  7. Wrap the top with cling film and refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight. (I used instant gelatin, so mine was set within 30 minutes.)
  8. Serve chilled for best taste.
