ABOUT Nutri Pockets RECIPE

These are similar to puffs but a little more on the healthier side as they are made with soya nuggets which are rich in proteins.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup whole wheat flour
  2. 1/2 cup ragi flour
  3. 1 tsp refined flour(maida)
  4. 1 cup sour yogurt
  5. 1 cup warm water
  6. 1 cup steamed mixed sproutes
  7. 1 cup finely chopped tomato
  8. 1 cup finely chopped onions
  9. 1 cup finely chopped capcicum
  10. 1/2 cup spring onions
  11. 1 cup finely chopped carrot
  12. 1/2 finely chopped ghost pepper
  13. 1 cup finely chopped soya panner
  14. 1 cup finely chopped spinach
  15. 1/2 cup sweet corn
  16. 1/4 tsp garlic and ginger
  17. salt- as needed
  18. chilli powder- as needed
  19. mixed herbs-1 tsp
  20. canola oil - 3 tsp
  21. 1/4 cup-cheese
  22. smashed aloo-1 cup
  23. powdered dry fruits

Instructions

  1. Take a glass bowl and add wheat flour,ragi flour,maida and 2tsp curd,salt
  2. And add 2 tsp of canola oil
  3. And add warm water and knead well into a dough and cover it with a damp cloth and rest for 2 hrs
  4. After 2 hrs we observe that the dough increased to 3 times and knead it well till it becomes soft
  5. Meanwhile take a non stick pan and add canola oil 3 tsp and add finely chopped ginger garlic and onion.
  6. and fry them and add chopped capcicum,carrot,ghost pepper and fry them for 2 min
  7. Add spinach,sweet corn , and fry them and add tomato and fry them and add salt,pepper and chilli powder and mixed herbs and fry them it comes soft and add soya panner and smashed aloo
  8. sprinkle some water and fry them and switch off the flame and add chopped coriander and add garam masala and a pich of sugar
  9. make some balls out of the dough and dust with dry flour
  10. roll them into a thin layer with rolling pin cut out into rectangular shape
  11. Take the prepared stuffing and grated cheese and cover the corners
  12. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 15 min and before baking brush some canola oil and powdered nuts
  13. serve it with mint chutney
