Traditionally the Christmas goodies, called kuswar are specially prepared by the Catholics in Goa and are distributed to neighbours, friends and relatives during Christmas.It is a deep fried sweet recipe made of maida/All purpose flour, sugar,, salt, semolina, ghee and milk. Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1 cup All purpose flour/Maida
  2. 1/2 cup Semolina (roasted)
  3. 1/2 cup Sugar powdered
  4. 2 tbsp ghee
  5. Salt a pinch
  6. 2 drops Vanilla Essence
  7. 2 tablespoons lukewarm milk
  8. Cooking oil for deep fry
  9. 1 tablespoon Powdered sugar for sprinkle

Instructions

  1. Take semolina n all purpose flour, add ghee rub n mix flour n semolina well.
  2. Now add sugar and salt mix well.
  3. Add vanilla essence now make dough adding little milk.
  4. Take small balls from the dough, give ovel shape take fork n keep it on top of fork press lightly n roll.
  5. Heat oil in wok n deep fry all till it turn brown. Take out in absorbing paper n sprinkle powdered sugar
  6. Transfer it on absorbing paper n sprinkle powdered sugar
